what actually needed to change was people’s mindset.
People only know how to see with their eyes, not with their minds. But almost nothing has obvious boundaries. What about all the stuff you can’t see with your eyes? Are you just going to ignore that?
This is the media: indifferent to suffering, insensitive to joy.
All of life is reduced to the same common banality.
War, murder and death are all the same, like bottles of beer, with the daily business of life being diminished to a melancholic comedy.
There seems to be a conflict of interest between that which is highly viewable and that which is highly illuminating.
